Abstract
The relationship between the electronic structure of small metallic (P t, Ir, Rh) and alloyed (Pt-Cr, Pt-Cu) particles and their chemical rea ctivity has been established using zeolite matrix and a set of physica l techniques, such as XPS, XAES, HRTEM, electron microdiffraction, FTI R of CO and catalytic model reactions.
