Abstract
The authors report about one observation of acute gastric volvulus on paraoesophageal hiatus hernia caused by a choledocolithiasis, requirin g gastrectomy and choledocotomy in emergency. On the basis of this cas e they sum up the main caracteristics of this complication of hiatus h ernia and insist on a earlier diagnosis before stage of irreversible l esions.
