Abstract
The combination of sorption procedures and biodegradation of PCB-conta minated ground water is presented. The efficiency of PCB removal in th e laboratory and pilot-scale technology is compared. Physical procedur es used were: sorption on bentonite, active carbon, carbon fibre tissu e and polymers D1V1, CME and Ostion. Biodegradation was carried out by the indigenous cocultures isolated from the polluted sites of the Cze ch Republic.
