Abstract
A review concerns the properties of source materials and ways of sampl e preparation in HPLC drug monitoring. The direct measurements, deprot eination (by precipitation, enzymatically, by ultrafiltration) and sol id phase and organic-solvent extraction are discussed. The most used b rands of material for sample preparation are surveyed 76 references.
