Abstract
Assumed incidents in the operational phase of the planned German repos itory Konrad for radioactive waste with negligible heat production wer e investigated in order to assess their possible radiological conseque nces. Release fractions of the radioactive substances contained in was te packages were assessed from experimental data obtained under therma l impact. They are given for halogens, tritium, C-14 and other radionu clides and are classified according to the waste form groups and waste container classes.
