Abstract
X-ray emission Kalpha1,2 and Kbeta1 spectra of sulphur and phosphorus in [Y0.89Sr0.11]Sr2Cu2.78(SO4)0.22O6.12 and YSr2Cu2.79(PO4)0.21O6.16 h ave been investigated. According to an analysis of their fine structur e and energy position it is confirmed that the S and P atoms indeed en ter superconducting cuprates in the form of oxyanions. It is also foun d that in YSr2Cu3O7-delta containing sulphate groups 0.2 vol.% of CuS is present as an additional phase.
