Abstract
This paper presents results of analytical and experimental investigati ons of sediment motion and bed morphology in circular outfalls, Behavi our of prototype and model sediments were studied in detail. A two-dim ensional finite difference approach has been shown to provide qualitat ive representation of the experimental observations.
