Abstract
University-industry relationships have been one of the most popular di scussion topics of the past two decades. However, most of the discussi on has centered on a single issue, that is, industrial sponsorship of university research and its related problems, real or imagined. The wr iter suggests consideration of the broader aspects of these relationsh ips, outlines several areas of cooperation, and cites some examples of model relationships.
