Abstract
A generalization of the spin-spiral model developed previously to inte rpret non-spin-polarized photoemission data on ferromagnetic metals to the spin-polarized case is applied to measurements on nickel by Kampe r et al. This method is easy to use and in contrast to the cumbersome random-cluster model leads to meaningful results for the magnetic shor t-range order ranging from 20 angstrom to 60 angstrom close to T(c).
