TIME-FREQUENCY ANALYSIS OF A NONUNIFORMLY SAMPLED SIGNAL WITH THE WIGNER-VILLE TRANSFORM - APPLICATION TO THE STUDY OF THE GYROSCOPIC MOTION OF A PROJECTILE
L. Simon et al., TIME-FREQUENCY ANALYSIS OF A NONUNIFORMLY SAMPLED SIGNAL WITH THE WIGNER-VILLE TRANSFORM - APPLICATION TO THE STUDY OF THE GYROSCOPIC MOTION OF A PROJECTILE, Mechanical systems and signal processing, 9(6), 1995, pp. 589-600
The aim of this paper is to determine the instantaneous components of
a high-speed spinning moving body by means of the pseudo discrete Wign
er-Ville distribution (PDWVD). The data access generates an enslaved s
ampling and, due to the friction forces, the sampling is non-uniform.
With respect to sufficient sampling conditions, the PDWVD may be appli
ed in a straight form to the non-uniformily distributed samples. Simul
ated and real signals are analysed. (C) 1995 Academic Press Limited
