Abstract
A new bivariate plot has been devised for the differentiation of speci es of the mesosuchian crocodile Steneosaurus using various cranial par ameters. The efficiency of this plot is highlighted and the affinity o f newly discovered steneosaurians from Kachchh to Steneosaurus durobri vensis is shown.
