Jm. Saiter et al., PHYSICAL AGING IN VITREOUS GE-TE-SB CALORIMETRIC AND X-RAY-ABSORPTIONSTUDIES, Journal of non-crystalline solids, 193, 1995, pp. 369-371
In this paper, aging phenomena observed on vitreous Ge-15-Te82Sb3 allo
ys are investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and ext
ended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) spectroscopy. The DSC tr
aces obtained on aged samples show a single glass transition temperatu
re and a single crystallization phenomenon, while for a fresh sample t
wo glass transition temperatures and two crystallization phenomena app
ear. EXAFS analysis registered at the Ge K edge, on fresh and aged sam
ples, at room and low temperatures, show that aging does not modify th
e local order around the Ge atoms.
