Structural relaxation is studied in a fractal-time random walk model i
n which the waiting time distribution is given by the power law t(-1-a
). By theoretical analysis and Monte Carlo simulations, it is found th
at the relaxation becomes anomalous for the case of a < 1, where the c
omplex susceptibility is described by the Cole-Cole form. On the other
hand, the normal Debye-type relaxation is observed for a > 1.
