Abstract
The structure factor of amorphous germanium has been determined using 120 kV electrons, an Omega-filter for the elimination of inelastically scattered electrons and a correction procedure for multiple scatterin g. The structure factor thus obtained is in good agreement with that o btained with X-rays and neutrons. This agreement in the monoatomic cas e is necessary for performing a three beam experiment to evaluate the three partial structure factors of a binary specimen.
