Abstract
The publication describes the successful remission of acute renal fail ure following heatstroke in a 4-year-old german wirehaired pointer bit ch. Pathophysiology, clinical appearance and complications of heatstro ke are discussed and therapeutic suggestions are made based on the cas e described.
