Abstract
A lysozyme-bonded silica column has been developed for direct separati on of enantiomers. Lysozyme was covalently bound to porous silica mate rials using an N,N'-disuccinimidyl carbonate reaction. By using a mixt ure of phosphate buffer and organic modifier as an eluent, basic and u ncharged enantiomers were resolved, while no resolution of acidic enan tiomers was observed.
