Abstract
One hundred and sixty crossbred pigs were used in Va double classifica tion design with no interaction to study the effect of the adjustment of mineral supplementation on the biological performance pigs fed fina l molasses. The results show that the modified mineral pre-mix did not affect the performance indices and produced savings per animal of 0.7 4 Cuban pesos in terms of feeding. Thus, a reduction of the mineral su pplementation in final molasses diets for growing pigs is feasible fro m an economical and biological point of view.
