Abstract
A pragmatic approach is proposed to continuously split up an M = 2(L) length adaptive transversal filter into M parallel single-parameter su bsections. The algorithm has a simple modular structure and each of th e subsections can be adapted separately such that the convergence beha viour of the system is improved.
