Abstract
The title molecules, C6H4N6O4.2C(3)H(7)NO, lie on a center of inversio n. One N atom of the ring is hydrogen bonded to the O atom of the dime thylformamide (DMF) solvate molecule [N-H ... O = 2.699 (4) Angstrom]. The nitro group is tilted by 4.11(18)degrees with respect to the imid azole ring.
