Abstract
In the crystal structure of the title compound [ethyl 2-hydroxy-1 meth yl-2-(2-propynyl)cycloheptane-1-prop-2-enoate, C16H24O3] the hydroxy a nd the propargyl groups of neighbouring molecules form cooperative fin ite hydrogen-bonded chains, C=C-H ... O-H ... O=C. In the C-H ... O in teraction, the H ... O separation is 2.32 Angstrom.
