Abstract
The title compound, C8H9N3O2S2, is an original drug structurally relat ed to diazoxide, an antihypertensive compound. At neutral pH, the mole cule is a zwitterion which contains a pyridinium heterocycle. The nega tive charge is localized at the 4 position.
