Abstract
Infrared spectra of fine-grained diamond-like residues extracted from Allende meteorites were measured. For comparison with these spectra, w e also measured the spectra of synthetic diamond particles. We show th at some of the minor unidentified diffuse interstellar bands (UIBs) mi ght be expected to arise from diamond-like grains.
