Abstract
The incidence of helicopter accidents has decreased, but lethality rem ains considerable. Rotor strikes are deadlier than crash-related injur ies, We describe a degloving injury caused by a helicopter tail rotor strike managed with rapid resuscitation and early split-thickness skin grafting.
