Abstract
Difficulties are described in the operation of metrological services i n contemporary Russian production, and of the economic and organizatio nal difficulties arising in the repair and checking of means of measur ement. Schemes and measures are proposed for organizing repair and che cking of various measurement facilities and gauges for checking the ge ometrical dimensions of workpieces.
