Abstract
The authors solve the problem of calculating the electromagnetic field of an an attached eddy-current transducer positioned above a half-spa ce and a layer and powered by pulses with high-frequency filling. Grap hs with the sensitivity to the specific electrical conductivity of the layer and the substrate as well as sensitivity to the layer thickness are plotted. it is shown that these parameters can be measured separa tely. The sensitivity of the method is compared with the sensitivity t o these parameters in operation of a transducer in continuous regime.
