Abstract
A new method for the determination of an initial spatial distribution function f(0)(r) for thermalized geminate electron-ion pairs is sugges ted. Various experimental values (yield of free charges, quantum yield of photostimulated recombination, etc.) were expressed through f(0)(r ) in terms of the diffusion model of electron motion. The real functio n was substituted for a linear combination of functions of a known typ e with initially indefinite weighting factors. This combination was us ed to describe experimental data. By solving the obtained set of equat ions, it was possible to reconstruct the function f(0)(r). Based on th e results of the calculations, conclusions are drawn concerning the be havior of f(0)(r) in various regions of r value.
