Abstract
We examined 60 children 8.9 years (+/-2.6 years) after surgical treatm ent of Hirschsprung disease to determine the extent of fecal incontine nce, Thirty-two children (53%) had significant fecal soiling and 15 (2 7%) less severe soiling. The prevalence of incontinence did not dimini sh with increasing age.
