Abstract
In the absence of ocular enucleation, our study demonstrates the diagn ostic value of the direct immunofluorescence technique using an antito xoplasma antibody on specimens containing Toxoplasma from pars plana v itrectomy (PPV) and subretinal tissue fluid aspiration, as compared to Giemsa staining and the mouse intraperitoneal inoculation method.
