Abstract
It is shown, by a simple argument, that in any {22} (i.e. type D) vacu um space-time, the complex component of tile Weyl curvature (spinor Ps i(ABCD)) along any light ray is precisely proportional to r(-5), where r is the standard Schwarzschild radial coordinate, or its natural com plex generalization for the arbitrary {22} case.
