Abstract
The relationship of the variability of qualitative characteristics of Larix sibirica Ldb. seeds on habitat conditions of maternal plants was studied. The certain increase of the variability of seed qualitative characteristics in pessimum conditions was revealed. A decrease in the quality of producing seeds in tundra communities, in comparison to ta i,oa communities, was marked. The results of data analysis indicate a meaningful relationship between the quality of larch seeds and habitat conditions.
