Abstract
A mathematical model was developed that describes a heterogeneous poly condensation process, in which the reaction occurs on the surface of s olid particles. An extended diffusion-kinetic domain of polycondensati on conditions was considered, and a system of differential equations d escribing the process was numerically solved on a computer. It is show n that a maximum level of polyamide polycondensation is attained in th e kinetic region. The rate constants of the main and side reactions ar e estimated.
