Abstract
Particle cloud density and velocity in a gaseous suspension with a par ticle size distribution were determined by a two-dimensional laser sys tem. Measurements were made possible by the combined use of a two-dime nsional laser Doppler velocimeter and a phase Doppler particle analyze r. The results and data system show the feasibility of determining ave rage and fluctuating properties and Reynolds stresses.
