Abstract
Data on the excimer fluorescence of aromatic hydrocarbons have been ge neralized and analyzed. The existence of a regularity in the values fo r the energy of the singlet and triplet excitations of corresponding m olecules has been shown. An approach to the classification of various excimer types has been proposed.
