ON FEATURES OF BREAM INFECTION BY ECTOPARASITES IN A NUMBER OF AREAS OF GORKI-RESERVOIR

The characteristic of fish infection by ectoparasites was given depend ing on ecological conditions in a number of areas of Gorki Reservoir. The method of determining symmetry of the infection of bilateral struc tures (gills) of fish by parasites was used. It was established that t he species composition and the number of ectoparasites, as well as the level of symmetry of the gill infection by them, depend on the degree of water pollution. It was revealed that parasites are good markers o f the ecological condition of water bodies.
