F. Maloberti et al., DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS ON LOW-VOLTAGE LOW-POWER DATA CONVERTERS, IEEE transactions on circuits and systems. 1, Fundamental theory andapplications, 42(11), 1995, pp. 853-863
In this paper, we discuss theoretical and practical issues concerning
low-voltage and low-power data converters. By looking at a series of c
onstraints affecting the design of basic elements and budding blocks,
the paper analyzes different architectures for Nyquist rate data conve
rters and discusses important aspects of low-voltage and low-power ope
ration. Following this, the minimization of power consumption in the v
ery popular sigma-delta technique is considered. A number of hints and
indications are provided throughout the paper.
