Abstract
A recent development in the theory for the dynamics structure factor o f molecular liquids, which employs the interaction-site model, is outl ined. The theory is applied for a description of the solvation dynamic s associated with a photo-excitation of a molecule in polar liquid. Pr eliminary results of the solvation time correlation functions for an a tomic molecule in a variety of solvents are presented.
