Abstract
The preparation of a new series of Zn(II) and Cd(II) complexes of some naphthylideneamino acids is described. The complexes have been charac terized by elemental analysis, electronic and infrared spectra and by the molar conductance measurements. It is concluded that the bivalent anions of the Schiff bases are coordinated to Zn(II) or Cd(II) as a tr identate ligands (ONO donors).
