Abstract
By overinjecting continuous fibre reinforced thermoplastic base items or inserts with short fibre injection-grade material is a straightforw ard and cost saving technique for manufacturing high strength and stif fness components of an arbitrarily complex form. The bonding between t he two materials in this case is of critical importance.
