Abstract
Valence band structures of the Ni intercalated TiS2(Ni1/3TiS2) are stu died by the angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARUPS). Remarka ble dispersions of the intercalated Ni 3d-related band along the c-axi s as well as within the layer plane are observed in the ARUPS spectra. Besides, resonance photoemission study is performed in the Ti 2p and Ni 2p core excitation regions to reveal the Ti and Ni derived valence band features. The resonance features are also observed for the core p hotoemission and Auger electron emission structures.
