A trial is made for determining kind of exchange interaction between s
pins of two intercalation compounds, Fe0.05TiS2 and Co0.1TiS2, by comp
aring the change in spin glass transition temperature T(g) accompanyin
g with the change in conduction electron number. In Co-compound, T(g)
changes and the RKKY interaction may be the dominant exchange interact
ion. In Fe-compound, although the change in T(g) is small, a tendency
for the RKKY interaction is suggested.
