We analyze the behavior of a particle with Spin 1 polarized in an exte
rnal magnetic field, immersed in an oscillator reservoir and periodica
lly perturbed. Two different models for the dissipative coupling are c
onsidered, the Rotating Wave Approximation (RWA) and the Full Coupling
(FC). The quantum maps are constructed for both interactions and we c
ompare their eigensystems and fixed points for several selections of t
he relevant parameters.
