Abstract
Whereas HEBP (etidronate) gives with cadmium carbonate a well crystall ized salt whose crystal structure is known, alendronate gives in the s ame experimental conditions a crystalline compound, where no cadmium i s found. It is the Bis-2,2' (dihydroxy phosphinoyl)-N (2',3'4',-H pyrr olyl) pyrrolidine.
