O. Holdenrieder et Tn. Sieber, FIRST REPORT OF MYCOSPHAERELLA-DEARNESSII IN SWITZERLAND, European journal of forest pathology, 25(5), 1995, pp. 293-295
Brown-spot needle blight caused by Mycosphaerella dearnessii [syn. Sci
rrhia acicola; anamorphic state: Lecanosticta acicola (syn. Septoria a
cicola)] was observed for the first time in Switzerland. So far, the d
isease seems to be confined to planted Pinus mugo and Pinus uncinata n
ear Zurich. Pinus sylvestris adjacent to diseased P. uncinata did not
show any disease symptoms.
