DYNAMICS OF THE 2-LOCUS HAPLOID MODEL

The model describes the relative frequencies at each generation of the four genotypes given by two diallelic loci with linkage and selection in a haploid population. This discrete dynamical system exhibits equi librium sets which depend on recombination and fitness parameters. The dynamics of the model is analyzed for all selection cases using Liapu nov functions and general conclusions are drawn on the geometry and gl obal stability of the equilibrium sets and their regions of attraction .
