Abstract
The upper part of the limestones, the transitional beds and the format ion of the Aetolian flysch (Nafpaktos), yielded foraminifera and palyn omorphs of Upper Cretaceous and Paleocene to Middle-Upper Eocene respe ctively. These biostratigraphic results lead to reattribution of the A etolian flysch to its real palaeogeographic position in the Pindus-Olo nos zone.
