Abstract
A method is described for the detection of patulin in apple juice and the simultaneous determination of the phenolic composition. Spectral d ata obtained with diode-array detection showed that patulin can be eas ily distinguished from compounds eluting under the same conditions. Th e detection limit for patulin was 8.96 mu g.l.
