Abstract
This paper describes the technique and results for measuring the spect rum of neutrons generated in a ''thick'' aluminum target by protons of a beam from the U-240 isochronic cyclotron at the Institute for Nucle ar Research of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The proton energy i s similar to 70 MeV. The spectrum has been measured in an energy range of 0.5 eV-55 MeV using neutron activation and time-of-flight techniqu es.
