Gi. Kanel et al., COMPUTER-SIMULATION OF THE HETEROGENEOUS MATERIALS RESPONSE TO THE IMPACT LOADING, International journal of impact engineering, 17(1-3), 1995, pp. 455-464
Preliminary results of 2-D simulation of shock-wave phenomena and unif
orm high-rate deformation in composite and porous materials are presen
ted. An empirical constitutive relationship has been constructed to de
scribe the dispersive effects in a composite in continuous manner. A r
esonance regime of shock compression of 1-D laminated model of the com
posite is discussed. Computer simulation of dynamic compaction shows c
hanging symmetry of pores.
