Abstract
This review is meant to provide a practical guide to anesthetizing min iature swine used in laboratory animal science. Several anesthetic tec hniques are presented including preanesthetic preparation, induction, maintenance, and monitoring of anesthesia. Special attention is devote d to side effects of the drugs used and to analgesia obtained.
