Abstract
Mass and energy characteristics of fragments formed in Am-243 fission induced by fast neutrons are measured. Special attention is paid to th e existence of fission mass channels, to shell effects, and to cold fr agmentation. Energies of incident neutrons range from 1.0 to 3.7 MeV. The results are compared with data from other studies.
